I bought a JVC digital video camera of a model no.: GR-D70U, serial no.: 148W1947. I bought this camera from California/USA and now I live in Baghdad/Iraq, note that there is no branch for JVC in Baghdad. Now I have the following problem with the camera: An error indication (E04 UNIT IN SAFEGUARD MODE) appears, and another indication told me to EJECT AND REINSERT TAPE. I tried to eject the tape by open the door of the tape but there is no response from the camera. So please can you help me to solve this problem knowing that I didn’t use the camera just two times. I am an electronic engineer and may be I can solve the problem if you advise me, knowing that it is difficult to send the camera out of Iraq because of the situation in Iraq. If it’s impossible to solve the problem in Iraq can you told me which is the nearest service center for me to solve the problem.
