request help for Panasonic Camcorder

I have a Panasonic NV-DX1 camcorder. The DC adaptor-camera cable has a round 8-pin plug that is about the size of an s-video jack. I need to know what these pins are for. If anyone knows where I might find a schematic, please let me know. I have no original adaptor, and can power only from the battery. Need to make a direct DC conection to the camera. Thanks
