HomeNeed Tape Deck Capstan motors I have a JVC TD-W550J Dual Cassette deck which one Capstan motor has quit and the other is dying causing playback distortion! I have new belts and cleaned pinch roller but dying motor is slipping in and out. I need to find either replacement part number or detailed info regarding these motors so I can replace them. I hate to waste a perfectly good "besides motors going bad" cassette deck. Thanks to anyone with any info in advanced.

I put in a tape and it wouldn't play. I tried to take it out, but every time i pressed the eject buttuon on my camera, the camera would kind of turn on and make an odd sound. But the tray wouldn't open so i can take out the tape. |
