My JVC Digital camera goes into "E05 Safeguard Mode"

My JVC Digital camera goes into "E05 Safeguard Mode" New Batteries, new tapes no luck. Camera worked for approximately 6 months before the first errors. I used to be able to clear the error with a little effort but no luck anymore.
