Hi Stacey, I am having a similar problem with my JVC AV-27730. Sometimes when I turn it on, the screen is black with a thin line of colour. If I tap the TV in varrying areas the picture will come back. Just wondering if the problem is worth the effort of fixing or should I be looking for a new set.
