The contact points look corroded on the chip and I was curious if salt spray could have gotten into the camera housing. Next, is it possible to recover images from the chip?

C:13:01 error on Sony Memory Stick with Sony DSC-P1 camera. Resolved using Photorescue software (www.datarescue.com/photorescue). It costs $30 but is easy to use and allows a free download first to view the pictures it will recover. Highly recommend Photorescue. |
