Eject Button

Well it happened, my worst nightmare! Whilst filming a wedding and just about to change my tape for the speeches, at the worst possible moment... I found my eject button didn't work, hence, I could not get my tape out. Does anyone know how I can fix the eject button on the panosonic agdv15? I do know the spring inside has detatched itself and I need my tape. Any help will stop my panic attacks!
