I have a mini DV recorder JVC GR-DX75AG which since a few days does not show anything on the screen wether in playing mode or recording mode.

I have a mini DV recorder JVC GR-DX75AG which since a few days does not show anything on the screen wether in playing mode or recording mode. The little red light does come on. We have attached it to the wall power supply so there is definite power. When the power is turned on it makes the regular beeps after which it makes a few more beeps (i think telling us something is wrong. I tried ejecting the digital tape but it doesnot come out. is there a way to force the tape out? So we can't play, record, eject the tape or view any menues on the screen but it does switch on the little red light. No rewind or fastforward. It seems like i had this once before........ Please help. Thanks Jacob
