HomeWhen the camera starts up, a flashing icon comes on the screen then the camera shuts down. Hey, I have a Panasonic NV-DS65 Digital Camcorder. It was working fine till a few days ago. I started it up and a red tear-drop inside a red box flashed onto the screen, and then after 30 seconds of the icon flashing, the camera shuts down. Any ideas on what could be wrong? If needed, I can get a photo of the error screen.

Regards, Davy Hi Karl, The same thing happened to my Panasonic NV-DS65EN. A red 'drop' appears on the screen and the camera shuts down. I did not manage to find a solution....I need help please...... Steven It indicates that condensation has occurred inside your cam. What you need to do is that remove the tape from cam and let the cassette compartment open and wait for 2 to 3 hours or until when you feel that condensation is gone. Actually waiting time depends on the amount of condensation and ambient temperature.
