Home | First message in thread | Previous messageDoug, I had the same issue with my JVC camera, took it to the service centre, paid the obscene quote fee and repair costs, only to have the same problem happen a week after getting it back. JVC has lost my vote. They're not getting anymore money from me.

At this time I have good news to report. After many discussions with JVC Australia my camera was taken to the local agent where it was checked and a report sent back to JVC. My camera was found to have a failed capstan motor (which is consistent with an EO6 error code), all repairs where carried out at JVC's cost. I picked my camera back up a week ago and have run it for a total of 5 hrs now with no problems. I will report back here if any faults develop. Regards Doug |
