HomeAll of a sudden tonight when I was changing the channel, instead of the TV light flashing, the 2 buttons next to it, the VTR and DBS/Cable buttons started flashing. How do I fix this? The 2 lighted buttons stop flashing after a while but when I press channel up or down, nothing happens and they start flashing again. Did I somehow screw up the programming code? How can I fix this? I need help please.

Remove the batteries for about 30 secs and then replace them it should work fine after that. That remote needs codes set. To set the codes go to : Press CODE SET. Press the appropriate function [white] button (VTR/DVD , DBS/CABLE). Enter the code using the numeric buttons. Press ENTER The only problem is that you need the code to enter into the remote. I myself have a RM-Y136 remote, but do not have the manual. Still looking for the code myself |
