I need to replace my motherboard on my Vaio N505

Hello. I'm looking for new motherboard for my Sony Vaio PCG-N505 notebook. It is an old notebook and am asking myself if there is another way or place to buy it except official Sony Shop/Repair. It says 1000+ $ for the motherboard for a notebook that is not even worth that much. Thanks!
