JVC HR-S9500U turns off immediately after power ON

Need Help!
My HR-S9500U VCR turns off immediately after pressing the power Burton and the front display keeps flashing "Auto". I inserted and ejected a tape but the same thing happens.
I suspect that the power supply could be the problem but someone told me that it could be a sensor that makes it auto shut off for some reason.
Any help would be appreciated.

You have problem with the lower drum, this is common problem with this vcr has dynamic drum, the only chance is to replace the lower drum, that is is expensive, check with jvc national parts.
