No luck with the sillical gel packs, so I placed the camera in a plastic bag with the sillica gel packs in it. I called the JVC support line 866.582.8324 and they are useless, the girl said she would locate a service centre based on my postal code which I can do it on my own. I will try the camera again today and if it doesn't work it seems that I will have to take it to a service centre. From what I have been reading on the internet and from my experience this is what I have to say "I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY JVC PRODUCTS WHATSOEVER, LET THEM GO BANKRUPT OUT OF BUSSINESS AS THIS IS WHAT THEY DESERVE FOR THEIR PRODUCT/SERVICE".
