My tv doesn't work, the power light blinks and won't shut off unless i unplug it

My tv doesn't work. I Checked outlet and breakers. Other components plugged into the same power strip work fine. When I hit the power button (remote or on the TV) the power light goes on and then the power indicating light on the front starts blinking. No sound, no picture, no menus, and it doesn't react to hitting the power button or the remote. You have to unplug it to turn it off from this semi-on state. Everything was working fine yesterday, and nothing was changed until the TV wouldn't come on. Any ideas?
