A new Sandisk Ms pro duo gives the C:13:01 error message

The stick works fine on my PC but it won´t be accessed in my brand new Sony DSC-T1. I see that this is a common problem with Sony, but has anyone solved it in this model? You can´t format the stick in the camera when you get this error and formating it in the computer doesnt help.
