I had a simalar problem I had a 'puter crash and needed to reload but I could not find my disc. I talked to Sony on the phone and they will sell you one but I don't know how much. I finally found my lost disc Here is their # Sony AV hotline team…..1-800-222-7669 If you get a disc be sure to disable ALL your antivirus programs before you begin when you load the software or it will NOT install right.. You will also need a dedicated USB type cable to connect your player to your computer. Good luck.
