When I turn my television on everything is fine, about one minute later the picture goes completely black and a thin bright vertical line appears through the screen. I have no picture at all, but I do have sound. Can you assist me with this problem?

Same problem here - anyone ever figure out how to fix? will gladly pay for some help. Thanks I have a JVC TV model AV-27730 The TV screen went to a bright line across the center, then to black. There is no sound or picture. Sounds like a capactor is bad in the vertical output circuit I need to correct the previous statement.
