Homesingle horizontal line appears for 4 min. at turn on We have 27 in JVC tv model AV27710 serial #14112866 that was purchased in 96-for the last week when it is turned on there is no picture just a thin horizonal white line in the middle of the screen-there is sound-this seems to last 3-5 min until the tv warms up- is it worth repairing or is it on its last legs?? It's was a common problem with the JVC Tvs. the basic problem is a poor solder in the base of the IC Vertical output (pins conection) It's your decision, if the quality picture is ok, i think so is worth. I worked to JVC factory and I saw a lot of times that kind of problem |
