How do I get Pinnacle 9 not to lock up?

I have Pinnacle 9.1 with the latest patch. I capture video and after editing I try to create DVD. It immediately locks up. If I try to create VCD or SVCD, there is no problem. Only when try to make a DVD, Pinnacle immediately locks up, it does not even let me click on the button to make DVD. I have tried diferent captured videos thinking it might be something in the content, but no luck. Does anyone have idea? Thanks.
