Enable higher wavelenghts receiving.

I know this question is very technical sill want a solution. First I want to know what wavelength range (sony trv33e with NightShot purchased on 2003) CCD chip can sence. How to modify my camera to diable it from picking up "viewable wave length range" and enable to pick up "Infra Red Rays wave length range" please answer in details.......preferably with pictures of the opening of the camera.
