audio out of sych with video after dvd burn

got a 60 min video on dvd--audio is out of sych--very annoying my sys is a p4 3gig,512 ddr ram,wd sata 10,000 rpm drive and i defragged. i am using the onbrd sound but the audio is going thru the usb with the video,usb2 btw any ideas--should i try going right to the onbrd audio, should i get sb card---the audio has worked for every other game i played so i dont think thats the prob using version 8.12 studio 8 quickstart and all drivers updated thanks or should i try a diffrent software-- :)
