Panasonic PV-DV202D To The Point Problem....

Comes on and loads tapes fine in play or recoed mode. Power light blinks twice and goes off blinks twice and goes off does this several times then finally turns off. While camera is on no other functions available. Figuring this blinking of the power button must be an error indication. Technician with no manual or schematic. Would appreciate and feedback. Jers
