hey, i just checked google, so nvds28 is a video camera type thinggy ... ok ... in that case ... more speculation time ... cam-corders usually have that mini-headphone jack thing, try and trackdown a male-male cable with that connection on both ends (when i say male, i mean it sticks it's pokey things into a hole) ... cam-corders will often have svideo out, so maybe try and get svideo-svideo cable (look at your equipment first) ... the next problem you have is software, which is most certainly not my domain! hope i've been of some assistance!

i wont claim to know much ... or even a little ... but i think we may need more info ... if the plugs dont fit in any of the laptop's holes we'll need to know what kinda connections they are (or how much lube you'll need) i got an ls50a as well (is how i found the site) ... so here's the deal ... -if it's audio, you need the mini-microphone plugs (they're converters from big ones) -if it's video, you've got either firewire or svideo, svideo is the only one i have experience with (it's the round hole) ... for about 15$ australian you should be able to goto your local electronics store and say "i want a male svideo to female av, yellow, cable" they'll probably give you a cable with 2 female av plugs, that's ok, svideo is 2 channel video so you'll only use one at a time, is no big deal ... -if it's both, you can get mini-headphone to dual channel av cable (red and white cable) and then you just connect the dots :) well ... urrr ... plugs ...
