How good the image quality in mpeg mode for sony dcr pc101

I find the quality of mpeg is not very good when viewed in computer screen after capturing. Is there any adjustment or what to make the mpeg better. When I see in TV screen it is very good. I would like to know how can I improve the quality of mpeg with this model of sony. Thank you for attention.
