How To Fix ... Without Breaking the THing or Making It Worse
Work gave me a Sony Macvia.
One day I ejected the floppy. The floppy came out, but the thin metal sheath that covers the actual disk is stuck in the drive!
I've tried to gently extract the meath sheath with tweezers, but it seems to be caught on something.
I don't want to make the situation worse. And I don't want to send it in to Sony ($150 minimum charge).
Any thoughts?
Should I remove the small screws around the casing? Will I be able to put it back together again and have it functional?
TIA
