internet browser keeps shutting down

when oppening IE then connecting with modem it comes with messege that IE is closing because it has encountered problems and it will shut down.creating error log. do you want it sent to microsoft. and when i click dont send ( or send) the browser shuts off if it hasnt already. then when i open new browser it will work ok for a while (or very long sometimes) but then the same thing happens again. also if i open more then 1 browser either the first one switches off or the last one switches off. Its driving me crazyy...plzz help
