Joel, a code 20 apparantly is a tape feed error. This is a common error with that deck. Often from underuse as much as over use! When I took my unit in to Sony they wanted several hundred dollars to fix it. ( I did not let them do it) I spoke to an ebay guy who deals in used decks.
