Tips on buying a used KV32TS35, price, pro or con etc..or repair a !994 Sony 32XBR...

I have a Sony 32xbr,1994, it has several problems: picture flashes to green(rapidly at first and then slows down to intermittent flashing as the set warms up), color has gone very red(cannot re-adjust, sometimes develops horizontal bars of distorted picture(1/2to 1"bars thay look like window blinds and they move) I now get dark green instead of black etc. Can or should I try to save her or buy a KV32TS35 for about $300.00?
