Home | Previous messageMy CCD-F70 records yet the counter and 'REC" in the viewfinder jiggle. On playback the picture is a mess but I hear faint audio in playback. This camera was working when it was shipped to me in New Zealand from San Francisco. It was packed loosely with battery. It sounds like it is a tracking problem and I don't know how to adjust the tracking. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ken In have found the ring. Where and how would you like the ring to be sent? Jane HELLO YES SURE SOUNDS LIKE TRACKING IS OFF .VERY COMMON ON THIS MECHANISM.UNFORTUNALLY THE UNIT WILL HAVE TO BE DISMANTELED TO ADJUST (T)GUIDE.ONCE TIGHTENED I RECOMMEND ADDING LOCTITE TO SCREWS ON GUIDE.GOODLUCK..CMELCHOR |
