Need help - Combustion or After Effects?

Hi Guys, I was about to purchase the Adobe Professional Video Collection before I started reading about Discreets' Combustion 3. My work will primarily be post-production (editing and VFX). I'm interested in particle systems, integrating 3D elements/models into live action film, morphing, film grain, colour correction and motion tracking. So, which product do you guys recommend, Combustion 3 or After Effects Pro 6? Also, can Combustion replace both After Effects and Premiere Pro? Is there another product out there better then C3 and AE6 (Pro) for about the same price? Thanks, Kay
