Hello, I'm the happy owner of a Fostex Foundation 2000 and have been trying to find for a long time which HP DAT model is compatible with the Foundation. I ended up with a fostex re controller and main unit but the guy didn't include the editor cable. Either looking to get the cable (with power supply) or wanting to sell..if anyone is interested jeremy.savage@snet.net

I have on Fostex Foundation 2000, not RE version... The big one version with 6 DSP... I think it's very nice equipment, because the remote controller are very speed... and user-friendly (touch screen+jogg) ! I pay 250$US for All ( 2 Remote controler + 1 Foundation 2000) ! Other friends buy two version F2K and F2KRE + Remote controller (universal, and RE Only) + Dancing Fader (only for Big F2K...). All work fine ! We have user manual for F2KRe only, but I look for Big F2K, and Dancing Fader... Best regards, JB Emond

Helmut... A few questions about the Foundation 2000: 1. Does it have the latest software? (there were several upgrades) 2. Is this the version with the "dancing faders" (mixing module)? 3.
