I can't output video to external tv monitor from breakout box using RTMac.

I can't output video to external tv monitor from breakout box using RTMac. I have down all the recommended updates to FCP 4.1.1 and Matrox updates of both firmware and drivers. I can get it to display still images on the tv monitor but it will not play in real time. It will aslo capture fine in real time. I am totally stumped on what to try. Anyone have any ideas?
