Do you still have sound? If so, you probably have a bad solder joint on the main pcb. Unplug it, take the back off and pull the main (large) circuit board back about half way out of the frame and let the back half of the board hang down. Plug in the set and turn it on...if the picture comes back you need to solder the surface mount components on the underside of the board...not a job for amateurs! But if you confirm this diagnosis your local repair shop might give you a break for pinning down the problem. Good luck.
