I need help with setting up my Pinnacle video capture hardware

I followed the Pinnacle installation instructions to the letter and all seemed to go well. Everytime I start my pc, XP (Home Ed)tells me I have new hardware and offers to install it - what should I do? Ayone any ideas. The Pinnacle help service seems abysmal to me, no use at all. The Pinnacle software seems to run fine though it only offers me the option of capturing video from my webcam or a DV camera source - no analogue appears available, it should be! Heeeelllllllpppppp please!
