Can't make a file.

Every time I try to make an AVI file I get a message, "this clip was recorded at a different frame rate and can not be converted to mpeg" (This is not the exact wording) When I delete that clip the rendering goes only as far as that same point and gives me the same message. Anyone have an idea how to fix it.
