AC adaptor part no AC-L10B

AC adaptor compatibility
Hi
I have just purchased a Sony DCR-PC101E camcorder without an AC adaptor. I may have the opportunity of purchasing a AC adaptor part no AC-L10B - (it used to be on a hi 8).
It has the right power ratings and looks similar but any idea if it would work??

This is sony's basic charger that works with all their cameras as far as I know.
