My Sony TV will not work after a Power Outage.

The "SLEEP" light is always ON when I turn it on. The Remote can only turn the TV on - it will not turn it off. It was working great before the Power outage. I try the Manual control to go to Video Modes or try the Remote to disable Sleep - but No PICTURE??? Any ideas !! Thanks Ralph
