Win XP Pro can't recognise when DCR-PC9E connected via 1394

I have been trying for some weeks now to get my PC to recognise my DV Camcorder when connected via 1394. The setup is as follows: -
Camcorder is a Sony DCR-PC9E.
Firewire Card is a D-Link (DRW-500).
Driver is TI OHCP (Downloaded from MS Update Site)
Op System is Win XP Pro (SP1).

This setup was working on a slower PC running ME.
