I must disagree... strongly. Having used both, the "old" PD150 beats the Panasonic DVX100 without breaking a sweat, both in image acquisiton and handling. The Sony does better in low level lighting. The Panasonic viewfinder is a disaster for prolonged shooting and the camera is NOT balanced well for hand held shooting. The LCD is lackluster... Beyond the native 24P, there is nothing to recommend the Panasonic. I'd much rather acqurie video with the Sony and do a software 24p.
