I have a Sony Digital Camera that needs repair. It's still under warranty, but they won't take it back with out the serial number. I believe that I sent the serial number in with one of the rebate offers. Now, I don't have one. Is it in the Camera somewhere? If I open it up, where do I look. I've never seen a product without a serial number stamped on it.

Sir: I have a 27 inch Sony TV that I bought in 1988. I was told by a technician, when I lived down in Texas, that older TVs were built better, and that it would be worth keeping and repairing. I have a problem with the set. The tuner does not function. I can still use it as a monitor, but the internal tuner is inop. The same tech told me that it sounded like a "I C Block". I may not remember correctly what he told me or what he meant as I am not a tech. What do you think? Thanks, FRED

HI. I have two sony dxf viewfinders. That the yokes or bayonette is giving me problems one is locked the other will not lock. I am looking for the service manuals as well. How abouth a service manual for a dxc 537 studio back. I have the second version of the manual I need thew older version. I can not lock the camera up with the 26pin cable but if I run an external one to the sync on the back it locks up fine. (yes I have checked the cables and the heads, ccu's, it's the back.) I purchased a JVC digital video camera 1 yr ago. It has orange and blue lines vertically on the screen and viewfinder. A picture eventually comes onto the screen if I keep it on for 30 min or so, but the picture is all red in colour. I can play previously tape films on it perfectly. The tech wants to charge $75 just to look at it and he said he may not even be able to fix it. Do you know what could have happened? If so what would be cheaper Repair-new one. you're the right man, just saw your posting. i have a trv-120 with the same error codes everytime i put in a tape, runs about 3 seconds, then shows "C:31:23 or C:31:21, can you help me solve this problem. where are you located, do you accept cameras to be repaired. i trade for them often and they don't work most of the time. thank you randolph
