  I require a 'battery chamber cover' for a Nikon Coolpix 4300. Please advise where I could locate such an item and whether this would be considered a "spare Part"?

    Did you find your part I have the same camera and dropped it and the battery compartment doesn't close now. I sent e-mail to this guy parts@huroncamera.com because their web site says they have it for $21...but how would you replace it, you know? Let me know - thanks.

    Wow! This seems to be a major flaw on this model ... I, too, have lost the tiny nib that keeps the battery cover completely closed. While it still works fine ... especially with a stylish rubber band ... it still isn't the ideal. The battery cover repalces easy enough with a couple of tiny screws, but where do I get a new cover?

  I am having Nikon Coolpix 4100 digital camera. Its front body is damaged when it dropped on ground. The camera is functioning perfect, but i want to replace the front body cover with a new one by myself.
  
  Can you please send me cost of its front body cover and the procedure to replace it so that I can manage to do it by myself.

    I have a Nikon Coolpix 4100 with the body in good condition but it was making a grinding sound when the lens opened and closed, so I put in WD40 and that pretty much killed the CCD because it only displays black for images now. Maybe one of can buy the other's camea for the parts. Please let me know. Brent

  Has anyone here received parts assistance or is this just a group of folks wishing and hoping that spare parts were availble for their broken equipment?
  
  I sincerely hope that somewhere there is a way to locate spare parts... I'm here to find a drive belt for a Kyocera Finecam S5 digital camera. I don't know why a digital camera has a belt drive on the lens assembly but there it is and the belt is broken as they tend to.
  
  I have attempted to communicate with Kyocera with no apparent luck and their "authorized service center" doesn't sell parts, only "service". I am savy enough to have already located the bad part, I just need a new one. :)

    Hi Shannon Just read your post (a few years old now). It sounds like a have a similar problem with the S5. I was told the service centre is in CHCH, IR Little' is that correct, as I can't get hold of them. cheers N~
